The piece was choreographed by: Emily Morgan, The dance is about women in the workplace and breaking through the glass ceiling. The boxes are made of a steel frame surrounded by half inch Plexi glass. This allow the dancers to get on top of them and dance on them. This elevated the performance in multiple ways as you can see from the images here.
